About the Author:

Mem Fox is Australia's most celebrated children's author, best known of timeless picture books like Possum Magic and Where is the Green Sheep?. Beyond writing over 50 books, she was an Associate Professor of Literacy Studies at Flinders University, where she trained teachers for 24 years. Born in Melbourne in 1946, she spend her early years in Zimbabwe before studying drama in London.

Helen Oxenbury is one of the most popular and critically acclaimed illustrators in the world.
