90% of our orders are sent via AusPost. If your order is bulky we may send it via courier.
1. How long will it take until I receive my order?
Please check the current Delivery Estimates from Australia Post here. We ship all parcels from our Brisbane shop in Queensland.
Express - Jump the queue!! We prioritise Express orders and pack them either the day you place the order, or the next day (if you place the order after 10am QLD time). Your order is sent via premium Express Post with AusPost and will normally take between 1 and 6 days depending on destination.
Free/Standard - We pack your order within 1 to 3 business days and ship via regular AusPost which can take between 1 and 6 weeks, depending on the destination.
2. Why is it taking longer to deliver orders?
The Australia Post system is experiencing severe backlogs in their sorting facilities due to COVID restrictions and high parcel volumes. See our COVID page for up to date information
We recommend choosing Express Shipping if you need it fast. Jump the queue! We pack Express orders Same Business Day if received by 10am Brisbane time, and they are sent using premium Express Post. For up to date Shipping info, please see the current Delivery Estimates from Australia Post here.
3. My order is a Gift. How do I add Gift Wrapping?
You can add a Gift Box, ribbon and Gift Card with our Make Your Own Gift Box option, and we will wrap it beautifully for you.
Alternatively if you simply want us to add extra protection when we're packing your items, please let us know in the order comments and we will take extra care with the items.
4. How do I get shipping updates?
You will receive a shipping confirmation email once your order is packed. The email contains a tracking ID that you can use to track your order.
You can also subscribe to tracking updates via AusPost, or download the AusPost app to keep up to date on your delivery.
5. Can I get my parcel left without a signature?
You can opt to have your parcel left without signature with Australia Post once your parcel is shipped. We send all orders requiring a Signature on Delivery to ensure that your parcel is received safely and securely and reduce the risk of theft or loss.
Please be aware that we are unable to accept any responsibility for lost or incorrectly delivered parcels if you choose to select an 'Authority to Leave'
6. It's urgent! Can I get my parcel delivered Same Day?
We are happy to arrange Zoom2U couriers from our Brisbane shop to send your parcel as quickly as possible. Please call us on 07 3160 9418 and we will organise a quote and take payment over the phone.
7. Remote location shipping
If you are in a remote location we charge a flat rate for standard delivery via Australia Post. We are happy to obtain an exact shipping quote for you, please just get in touch with your order and we will provide a quote for both standard and express post shipping options via Australia Post for your items. You can send your inquiry to firstname.lastname@example.org - you can add your items to your cart or wishlist and send it to us, or just include the items in the email.
8. My parcel is being Returned to Sender! What happens next?
Sometimes if the address is incomplete or incorrect, or if a parcel is not collected from a Post Office in time, it will be returned to Milk and Love. We recommend you always double check your order confirmation email after placing your order to make sure the shipping address is correct.
Please be aware that if your parcel is returned to us, we are charged by AusPost for the return shipping. We charge a $15 handling fee for all return to sender parcels, plus $9 for Standard Shipping or $12 for Express Shipping to resend it back to you. If you choose to cancel your order after it has been shipped we will deduct the $15 handling fee from the return. Original postage charges are also non-refundable.
9. I live near you guys! Can I pick up from your Paddington, QLD Shop?
If you enter a Queensland postcode in your shipping address, you will be able to select "Pick Up at Paddington QLD shop" as a free shipping option. We are here from 9:30 till 2:30 Monday to Friday (excl public holidays) for you to pick up your order. If it is urgent, please give us a call and we can have your order ready for pickup within an hour during opening hours.
All pick up orders must be processed and paid for online to secure your order.
If you have accidentally selected Pick Up but would like your order to be shipped to you, please give us a call, or send an email.
Please be aware that if your order isn't picked up within a month of placing your order, it will be canceled and the order refunded, less $9 cancellation fee.
10. My order hasn't arrived yet! What can I do?
If you are concerned, or have not received your parcel within the average time frame expected, please get in contact with us so we can follow up with Australia Post or the relevant Courier on your behalf.
Please be aware that we are not responsible for any delays in delivery that are beyond our control. Please contact us at the time of placing your order if you have specific delivery requirements.

International Orders - We are no longer able to ship internationally due to COVID19 until further notice.
International orders will be posted using Australia Post, and their network of international couriers. We charge a flat rate based on the table below:

The Australia Post shipping method used will either include Signature on Delivery or Tracking (but not both). The Australia Post shipping method used will be determined by us, depending on the postal service within the country of destination. We will aim to post your order within one business day following receipt of payment, however this may be delayed during our sales due to the volume of orders we receive.
The postal fee charged does not include possible taxes and duties which may be applied by customs in the country where the order originated. The responsibility for any customs duties, foreign taxes or other fees which may be imposed will rest with the customer. To comply with Australian export regulations, we are required to declare the exact value of all items ordered and to mark them as dutiable "merchandise". We are also prohibited by law from marking the order as a "gift", even if order is placed with the intention of sending to a gift recipient. For further information we recommend speaking to your local customs office.
Although we take the utmost care with the transportation of your order, we are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
